Lisa Bastoni got her musical start in September 2001, when she quit her day job to play for tips and smiles in the bowels of the Boston subway. Street performing led to actual indoor gigs, and soon Lisa was playing some of the finest coffeehouses and listening rooms in New England. After four years of supporting herself as a Boston-based folkie street performer and touring musician, she packed up her car and moved to the sunny and musically vibrant city of Austin, TX. After a one year sabatical from perfomring, Lisa has been recording tracks for Small Time Big Town her follow-up to the well acclaimed Your First Sweetheart. This simple, quiet album marks Lisa’s official return to performing, as well as her official return to New England, and, of course, her first project with 7nõt.
